NCHA National Finals Show: February 2011
This 3 day event held at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) is fiercely competitive as it is the last opportunity for competitors to gain earnings towards their current standings. The NCHA present national awards to riders and horses from the previous year 2009, at a dinner and presentation night.
The Cutting Edge Beer & Wine Fest: Saturday 19th March 2011
The 4th Cutting Edge Beer and Wine Festival is a charity event with all proceeds going to the Tamworth Base Hospital Operating Theatres. The day consists of a banquet of wine, beer and food tasting from regional producers complimented by a bevy of musical entertainment.

Kootingal Pumpkin Festival: April 2011
The Kootingal Pumpkin Festival features many unique pumpkin attractions and competitions including the Pumpkin Princess and Pirate competition for girls and boys aged 5 to 11, pumpkin cooking, pumpkin bowling, the wheelbarrow race timed trial, Wood Chopping, sheep shearing demonstrations, the Cloverleaf Square Dancers and many more.

Bendemeer warms up every autumn with the Annual Colours of Autumn Art and Craft Exhibition being held at the Bendemeer Hall with a huge array of fine art on display as well as woodturners, blacksmith and silk scarf painting demonstrations and an artist in residence over the course of the weekend.

The major fundraiser of the Nundle P&C and attracts families and their dogs from around the North West region. 2011 will be the running of the 32nd Great Nundle Dog Race with exhilarating races for dogs and their owners, an agility course and high jumping competition.
NCHA Futurity: May/ June 2011
The month of June is one of the busiest at Tamworth’s Australian Equine Livestock and Events Centre with the staging of the largest ever National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Futurity, the flagship for the NCHA which showcases hundreds of elite national cutting horses.
Hats Off to Country: July 2011
The 2010 Hats Off to Country Festival is a mid year winter celebration of country music in Australia’s Country Music Capital over four days of entertainment from some of Australia’s finest country music talents. It follows on from two weeks of the CMAA Australian Academy of Country Music.
